Dani Pedreño is a Murcian magician fascinated by the Art of Illusionism. He is characterized by offering direct, surprising, fun, participatory, and modern magic. He was born on July 12, 1996, in Murcia (Spain).
It is a nickname that comes from the abbreviation of Dani (D), Pedreño (P), and “Magician”.
At the age of 7, his family gave him the mythical 'Magia Borrás' box for Christmas, and that was where he discovered magic for the first time, when his father and grandfather performed a trick from that wonderful gift for the first time, leaving him fascinated by that world.
As the years went by, he distanced himself from magic due to the difficulty of learning it and the lack of information to continue training as a magician.
Years later, at the beginning of 2014, at the age of 17, magic came back into his life. At that time, he liked to do simple tricks for his friends, showing great dexterity for it, and encouraged by the admiration shown by those who saw him and, due to his great interest and curiosity for magic, he began to look for information about it on the Internet.
Then he acquired books and learned more and more about this wonderful Art in a correct and orderly way, leaving the Internet aside.
At the end of 2014, he joined the Murcian Illusionism association, the CIMU (Murcian Illusionists Circle), where thanks to the recommendations, advice, and great information given there, he managed to deepen his acquisition of knowledge and the learning of Illusionism.
In February 2015, he enrolled in all the important magic congresses in Spain to continue deepening his knowledge of the Art of Illusionism; in addition, throughout the year he performed his first shows before an audience in different places: birthdays, communions, pubs, televisions, theaters, etc.
In November 2016, he attended the Magic Congress of Murcia for the first time and participated in a magic contest, winning the Second Regional Magic Prize in Murcia.
In March 2017, he participated in the International Magic Festival of Almussafes (Almussafes Mágico), winning the Third International Magic Prize.
In April he attended "MagiÁvila", winning the Third International Magic Prize in Ávila.
In June 2018, he finished his theater and English classes to enhance his magic. In July he moved to London to perfect the language.
In late September 2018, he started working at Hamleys, the most famous toy store in the world. In February 2019, he started working there with his magic, levitating objects in front of hundreds of people a day.
In October 2019, he participated in the famous TV show Got Talent España broadcast on Telecinco.
In mid-December 2019, he returned to Spain after breaking historical sales records at Hamleys with his magic.
At the end of 2019, he received his biggest offer: working in the largest hotel chain in Benidorm. However, on March 15, 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic paralyzed everything.
Faced with uncertainty, Dani resumed his vocation for public service. In 2021 he joined the Spanish Air and Space Force as military air police and, in 2024, he entered the Civil Guard.
Today he combines both vocations: creating illusion through magic and contributing to citizen security.
